Solivellas
Solivellas, a family-owned estate near the Mediterranean and the Sierra de Tramontana in Mallorca produces premium extra virgin olive oils that epitomise the island's unique terroir. Leveraging a variety of olives such as Arbequina and Picual olives, grown on calcareous soil and nurtured by the sea breeze and mountain winds, Solivellas creates a distinct, balanced blend. Their artisanal approach involves mechanically extracting oil from perfectly ripe olives, ensuring an acidity level below 0.2º, reflecting exceptional quality. Unfiltered to preserve sensory properties, the oil is protected in dark glass bottles, upholding its purity and flavour. This meticulous process, under the Protected Designation of Origin Oli de Mallorca, showcases Solivellas' dedication to preserving Mallorca's olive oil heritage
Son Naava
Son Naava's Extra Virgin Olive Oil, produced through the Demeter biodynamic farming approach in Mallorca, exemplifies the fusion of traditional methods with modern ecological principles. This process involves nurturing the soil naturally and avoiding pesticides or chemicals, under stringent biannual inspections by the Demeter Association. The olives, harvested in October, are rapidly processed to maintain low acidity, ensuring a fresh and pure flavour. This quick turnaround is essential for preserving the oil's quality and avoiding increased acidity. The oil's exceptional standards are recognized by the International Olive Oil Council for its superior taste and high oleic acid composition. This rating is achieved through mechanical extraction, without the use of heat, solvents, or additives, keeping the acidity below 0.8%. Son Naava's commitment to biodynamic farming and its meticulous harvesting technique using a mechanical umbrella harvester reflects a dedication to producing olive oil that is not only of the highest quality but also sustainably and responsibly crafted.

There are so many different varieties of olive oil and Mallorca has some of the best that you can find in the world. Most of the olive trees on the island are over 500 years old, so olive oil from Mallorca is a testament to the island's rich history and its commitment to quality – these are only some of our favourites, there are so many more to try, but be sure to drizzle some over your favourite rustic Mallorcan bread or a hearty salad next time you’re out. We also highly recommend doing an olive oil tasting.
